…err, wait, I mean, “Jon Maki, PMP.”
Which is to say that I am now officially a Certified (which is different from certifiable) Project Management Professional.
Hooray? (Sure, why not?)
I have a lot more to blog about beyond that, but don’t have the energy right now, and haven’t had the time, as I’d been studying for the PMP exam.
I’ll be back with more soon.

Quick Late Night Post
I haven't posted in a couple of days, but that'll be changing, as there are two significant events coming up in the next few days that require some recognition.
Monday night I didn't post because I was...ill, and turned in early.
(You don't really want to know the details)
Yesterday I didn't post because...I just didn't.
Normally I wouldn't post anything on a Wednesday because it's Riff Trax Night with Scott, but tonight was an exception.
Due to some medical tests yesterday (you probably don't want to know about that, either) Scott couldn't drive for 24 hours, so Stacy had to bring him in to work and pick him up, thus thwarting the usual Wednesday pattern.
So I had most of the evening free in which to post something before now but...I didn't.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that substantial posts are coming, and also to post this snippet of an IM conversation I had with Scott this morning:
Me: So what was the test for? The Clap?
Scott: Nice.

Quick Shot
First of all, happy birthday to my niece Jourdan, who is 22 today.
Second of all...well, there really isn't a second of all.
Too lazy, tired, and I have too much shit to do to write a proper post.
Maybe tomorrow.

Quick Post
It's pretty cold in these parts today. Never got above freezing, and it's only supposed to get colder tonight.
Of course, "cold" is a pretty relative term. Consider the following conversation I had with my mother yesterday:
Me: It's supposed to get down to 14 degrees here.
Mom: It's supposed to get up to 14 degrees here.
So there you go.
Of course, some people think that once yout get to a certain level of coldness the numbers don't matter anymore. I think those people have never experienced a wind chill factor of -80.
Right now it's 19 degrees, though, and I'm thinking that they might have a point.
Not much new or exciting going on around here. I came home, dozed in the recliner for a while, ate something, sat around, wrote this.
