Recently, for whatever reason, I’ve seen a lot of random jokes/humorous observations along the lines of, “With everyone using cell phones these days, where does Clark Kent change into Superman? There aren’t any phone booths!”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Ha.

The Superman movie came out in 1978. It features a scene with Clark, looking for a place to change into his working clothes, running towards a “phone booth” of the sort that was already prevalent back then, which is to say it wasn’t a booth at all, but rather a stand with a phone on it and a very small enclosed area at the top.
The joke is at least 33 years old. Just as Clark did in the movie, after briefly pausing to look at the pay phone, people need to move on.
