The trailer for the movie "based" on the comic book Wanted is now online.
In fairness, it looks like an okay action movie, and Angelina Jolie is increcibly hot and "wanted" by men and women alike the world over, but it really seems to have very little in common with the comic from which it gets its title.
In fact, it looks like they've taken most of the actual comic book elements out of it.
That's hardly surprising, but still disappointing.
I won't bother explaining the premise or the nature of the comic - though you can read about it here - but suffice to say, it didn't involve much in the way of heroism or people behaving nobly, both of which appear to be major elements in the movie.
It's probably just as well; I can't see another writer other than Mark Millar making the actual story work.
