Mix -N- Match

So for my next effort I decided to try to wed the line art look with my more typical shading techniques.
Here - in this picture of a soaking wet Erica Durance - is the end result.

I think that the combination of techniques, especailly with the subject, gives the picture a bit of the "AH! Effect." (By which I mean it's reminiscent of the cover work of Adam Hughes.)
That this is the second image that's of an essentially headless woman does not indicate the beginning of a trend; it was just a bit simpler to try the effect without having to deal with the complexities of facial features and hair.

I noticed you "forgot" to draw in the top of her bikini. Not complaining here. BTW, what's going on with the crotchal region? Is that a skin fold or an inadvertant Britney?

Yes, that is a skin fold. It's actually part of her thigh which is obscuring part of her bikini bottom. Maybe if I'd gone with a fully traditional approach to shading that would be a little more clear, though honestly I could see it being a little unclear even in the HD cap I was working from.
