Earlier this afternoon we had a brief but momentous thunderstorm that took out my cable, both TV and Internet.
Because it had been a few hours with no change, I decided I should call the cable company.
Of course, I didn't actually have their number written down anywhere, so I actually had to resort to using a dial-up connection to get online and find the number.
They are, apparently, "working on it."
In the meantime, I've got no TV and only dial-up Internet...how can anyone live like this?
How did I ever live with dial-up Internet?
Slow as my crappy cable connection is, this experience makes me appreciate it that much more.
