Not For The Faint Of Heart

In my aimless, post-walk Web surfing this morning I wended my way over to Brian's Journal, and noticed that he actually put in a plug for Threshold.
What I liked most was the little disclaimer he put in with the plug, though: Warning, this BLOG is not for the faint of heart.
Honestly, I would have said something more along the lines of "Warning, this BLOG is not for the easily bored," but hey, I appreciate how much cooler Brian's was.
After all, it makes me feel like I'm somehow dangerous.
A maverick. A loose cannon. A renegade.
Yep, that's me, a total Byronic figure: mad, bad, and dangerous to know...
Okay, the reality of it is that Brian knows that his audience actually consists of good, decent people, not the kind of filthy degenerates that hang around here. No, Brian's audience has too many people who might find my penchant for randomly busting out with an F-Bomb or some casual blasphemy offensive.
Ah, the perils of decency...
None of that for us, though. We are bold and unoffended and utterly unconcerned with things like decency. Decency is for old ladies and eunuchs!
...
Okay, so maybe I'm a little overly amused by the notion that the bland, flavorless details of my quiet, unremarkable, and largely inoffensive life could be considered too spicy for some.
In any case, I appreciate the plug (and the laugh), and I'm glad to hear that I was able to help him overcome his encoding difficulties.
And for those of you with hearts strong enough to come back for more, I'm sure I'll have another entry later in the day...

I am not a "wackjob."
Wackjobs lead much more interesting lives.
