For Every Centimeter Of Snow The Level Of Panic Increases Exponentially

So this morning this...

...added an extra five minutes to my drive to work as people gave in to raw panic and apparently believed that the rule of law and the very foundations of society had collapsed. After all, there was snow.
Sure, there was no snow on the perfectly-dry roads, but there was snow on the ground and on cars, therefore it was time to panic.
Meanwhile, back where I grew up, it looks like this, and I'm sure that life is moving at its usual pace.
On an unrelated note, Ricardo Montalban, probably most known to the world for his work on Fantasy Island, but best known to nerds as Khan from Star Trek, has died. As usual, Mark Evanier has the best obituary.
