Dream Girl has the ability to see the future - typically in her dreams - and has the distinction of having left the Legion proper to join the team of Legion rejects known as the Legion of Substitute Heroes, where she honed her abilities - both in terms of accuracy and how far she could see into the future - before returning to the Legion, where she went on to serve a term as the leader of the team.
Back in 1976 when he was serving as writer (for the second time) of the Legion, Jim Shooter wrote the following note about Dream Girl:
Dream Girl is dumb. Her power is more or less hit or miss in value (though it is
always accurate) and I'm sure her main service to the Legion is in her quarters
after dark. She needs constant reassurance of her value, and since her Legion
career has been less than stellar, the only way to get psychologically stroked
is to allow herself to be physically stroked. By anybody.

So did Shooter's assessment influence you in your depiction? I'd say she's got the most suggestive pose out of those you've done so far.
Not that I have a problem with any of that.
Not really. I mean, I don't agree with his assessment, but that's largely because most of what I read of her was by Levitz, who also seemed to disagree with him.
With Levitz, the sex kitten persona was...well, not an act or facade, exactly, as it really was part of her personality, but there was more to her than that.
And I don't think any of it was rooted in a lack of self-confidence or feelings of inadequacy.
But anyway, mostly I thought that, given her powers and name, it was appropriate to show her in bed. And because she is sexy, regardless of what Shooter thought...
Well, in Shooter's defense (or to his condemnation, whatever,) she's a girl, and girls are icky. I mean, he started writing Legion before his voice started cracking. Given the inherent misogyny prevalent in comics, especially then, I'd be surprised if he had a healthy attitude towards women at all.
