(To be fair, I don't think that this picture of Scarlett Johansson is crap, and actually I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out, but...well, I'd like to be able to offer you something different from the usual stuff I post, but it seems clear that just isn't going to happen. So while this is a decent picture, it's essentially the same decent picture I've been posting for who knows how long. But don't let my artistic and existential ennui spoil your enjoyment of it.)

Whatever, this is fantastic. Are you trying something new with the shading? The shadows and highlights on her skin look very realistic. Fine job on the hair, too. I know it's your least favorite part, but it looks like you hit this one out of the park.
I'm glad you like it, and honestly, I do think it turned out really well, but no, I didn't try anything new with this picture.
It's the fact that I did the picture at all that's bothering me. Why not try something different? Why keep doing the same thing over and over again? That I do it well is no excuse, and could be said to actually be the reason that I should move on and do somthing different and more challenging. That sort of thing.
I'm sure I'll do some whining about it in a future post.
